To: null and void

I always thought the first day of summer was the 21st. HOw does this work, based on the full moon? Someone pls explain. Oh yes, I know the 21st is the longest day in the year and after that the days start to get shorter..and I hate early dark afternoons...

No idea. I guess it starts at the precise point where the length of day and length of night graphs cross.

My calendar calls today the

First Gay of Summer
Pacific Time

It’s already 6/21 in half of the world.
