Cardi, I just finished reading the posts on the thread you linked regarding Britney Spears. Personally, I am appalled at the number of ugly responses to a soul that is publically sliding into the depths of total despair.

Thanks very much the link yorkie. I have Bookmarked it - it is hard for us to imagine the depression that can overtake people for no apparent reason.
With Van Gogh he expressed his disorder in his paintings - perhaps that is the only means of communicating a severe mental malaise.
Unfortunately, I have not been on the Britney Spears thread all day so have not seen the responses. But what you say does not surprise me at all.
FR at times is like a corner of a harbor where the tide brings in all the flotsam causing a blight upon what is a haven for many.
