I have a different take on this.

It's a bit strange, but follow me here. I stopped using Google when they made the deal with China, allowing China to continue to prevent alternate viewpoints other than those from the government of China. That they would do that told me the Google people had moral problems that were huge. Google continues to short shrift anything other than liberal viewpoints on their searches, cutting off conservatives such as Michelle Malkin and others. With their purchase of Youtube, they continued in the same manner, such as allowing Islamic radical sites anything they wanted, yet censoring anti-Islamic sites. There are many more examples of their liberal meddling.

I use Ask as a result. Google may have some good points, but their politics suck, and they play hard at it.

Thanks for the info, sharky and nully. My apologies for the delayed reply. :) Things have been sooooo busy lately, too much so. But, some worthwhile projects have been finished and finally I'll have some time of my own again. Yippeeee.

K, now, everyone, :) Other than the website(s) you use most often to search, do you have/use any particular or favorite techniques/shortcuts to narrow/define your search. he/he :)

For example, I often use the minus (-)or plus (+)sign in searches.

Aha !! thank you!! We stopped using Google nearly one year ago. Bad news. Yahoo and others work just as well.
