Monday , March 24, 2008

ANNAPOLIS, Md. —

A small part of the wing on a U.S. Airways plane dislodged and hit a passenger window as it flew over Maryland, according to the airline.

No injuries were reported aboard the Boeing 757 twin-jet airliner traveling on Easter from Orlando to Philadelphia with 174 passengers and six crew members aboard, U.S. Airways said.

The plane landed safely in Philadelphia.

The plane is out of service and the airline is investigating.

I don’t know how any of the airline companies can even stay in business with the gas prices so high.

The gas prices are having a domino effect on everything. (including our grocery stores - now that truckers are going on strike or out of business)

I had to laugh when I heard that story, Darlin’! We’ll probably never know the truth, but I have a hunch he was playing with his gun. You know how men are! :)
