I had suggested to the ladies in a post the night before that they bridle their most ardent desires until they were bedded in their canopied four posters. This, in deference to the fact that they were in the Hostal of the Catholic Kings.
And, that the figures of Adam and Eve by the portal should guide their thoughts. Therefore, it is only fair that I should suggest that they did not lay unsullied in splendid isolation upon virgin sheets but some knight of their fancy did accompany them.
