Hi yorkie, I have just got back from shopping for groceries. The stores will be closed for the next two days for the Easter holidays.
Jane was in in Montpellier, southern France, at lunch time today buying wine in the supermarket. She said she had a great meal in France and surprisingly it was less expensive than her last meal in Spain.
She had better relish that as she will be on the French Riviera tonight and I bet she has to eat in her hotel room with the stuff they bought in the supermarket.
Never mind, she will eat better there and much more economically.
I will find out what their plans are tonight - they will be going later to Genova in Italy to catch a ferry to Malta from there as they do not feel like travelling the whole length of Italy with the car loaded as it is and there being so many car thieves.
I hope she has a nice trip, (and safe trip), Cardi!
I’ll bet Jane bought a couple bottles of good red wine, two loaves of freshly made French bread, and a block of good cheese.
What more could they want? (That’s what I would do.) ;-)
