Ya know, I heard Rush say today that when Spitzer decided to get Hank Greenburg the CEO of AIG insurance that he simply told him to resign or he would indict him. Well, of course, Greenburg and the board had no choice but resignation. The years and dollars involved if he chose to stay and fight an indictment at age 79 just wasn’t worth staying and fighting. Plus the damage it would do to his firm was immeasurable. I understand that was a typical example of his high-handed and partisan abuse of power.
More than typical, it’s his trademark.
Now, it seems that the big bird of Irony has come to land on Spit’s bald head...
Hope it lays a big one.
Nancy Grace just reported that he has spent over $80,000 on hookers. Dang! Expensive hobbie, eh?
From what I have heard of Spitzer he is just beginning to get his just desserts. With what you have posted and how he has threatened reporters who called him on it. He seemed to be someone totally out of control.
