It is me..with a drive by..seems to be the story of me life ( that is the Irish coming out..St Pattys day is due ya know)
A week ago this past Thursday ( Feb 28) The Great One decided to try for a cheap grab for attention as he calls it. He was watching TV so noticed nothing. But when he got up to answer the door, he was wobbly on his feet and we didn’t know what it was..could be circulation in the leg or the diabetic neuropathy. The next morning nothing changed so I took him to the ER..they treated him as if it were a stroke. The head CT was normal, bloods were normal..no heart attack..chest xray..normal and EKG showed a flutter ( which is worse than a fib and neither is good) So he was admitted and the next day MRI and MRAs were run along with neurological tests and it turns out it was a tiny TIA in the area that controls balance....a week plus later he is doing fine..went fishing today. I do think The GReat One is a reincarnated cat with at least 9 lives.
Whew..never dull around here!
Isn’t it wonderful that “The Great One” is back to his old self? You must be so thankful!!! Thank you C.gal, for sharing your story! Big hugs to you and “the Great One”!
