Maybe they have laid off customer service personnel due to shoplifting losses. But I have to wonder. Why would any person need customer service in a Target. It’s a self serve store just like a Wal-Mart or a Kmart. I guess some people just need their hand held. If you support shoplifting as retaliation against a retailer you need some professional help. Sorry if I hurt your little feelings but please seek help.

I needed customer service because Target stole from me, then refused to reimburse me for the DVD that they owed me. For you to hurt my feelings, I’d have to actually care about your opinion.

BTW, I just gotta laugh at that comment. Are you saying that when making returns to Wal-Mart, you can do it all with no customer service desk being involved? Are you saying that when the self service checkout computer hangs up, you don't need customer service to come unlock it so you can keep scanning your items? Are you sure you've ever shopped at Wal-Mart before?
