Somewhere between- OMG what a horrible, awful, terrible national tragedy is the death of Heath Ledger....and John Gibson’s attitude...is a reasonable reaction.

Maybe Gibby was reacting to the crazy reaction of the media? Honest to goodness- the MSM cable reaction was simply over the top. A talented, apparently troubled young actor died. Why did the country come to a stop about it?

It didn't.

And, of course, when a young, famous, attractive and well-liked person with a bright future and a young child dies unexpectedly it makes people stop and think about life and death in a way that the death of 90 year old does not.

If that were the case he would have asserted his opinions regarding the media and not made unfounded remarks about this kid. Why didn't he do that? My guess would be he is as much a media whore as the rest of them are.
