Had to use this, it's insufferably cute. My question is, are cats domesticated? ;')

My cat has been doing squirrel duty in the attic lately.
She pulls her weight I must say.

My question is, are cats domesticated? ;') No, they domesticated us. :-))

My labs were taunted by two coyotes just at sunup Friday morning. Hard to believe they're close relatives. Note how well fed the coyotes look.

My question is, are cats domesticated?'They are not pack animals, but they are tame and live in houses. I think Desmond Morris says they are the only critters that can switch easily between kitten/dependent mode and adult/independent mode.

Should take a shot. Even if you miss, you’ll probably not see those coyotes again. :’)

No, they domesticated us. That's called toxoplasmia. :)

That sounds like a lovely story weaved by looking at genetic material. I bet if “they” looked at my genetic material “they’d” find tales of my ancestors hanging out at local saloons.

I would have but what you can’t see is the housing development about 500 yards away on the other side of the field. The perps were out of shotgun range and there were occupied dwellings well within rifle range.

They’re adept at feeding themselves. :’) Keep the cats inside at night. Or try a buried “jaws” type trap baited with somethin’ dead. The smell will draw the coyote, and it’ll wind up half-pre-buried.

In that case, my question is, are we domesticated? ;) ;)Despite the best efforts of my wife and cat, I have not yet been domesticated. But, they persist. Hope springs eternal! :-))
