As much as I like Carrie, I can’t help but wonder if this isn’t too soon. I mean, being inducted into the Grand Ole Opry should be an achievment obtained after a long career, shouldn’t it? What will she strive for after this? I just find it kind of disappointing, in a way. Do you know what I mean?

The Grand Ole Opry isn’t a “Hall fo Fame” kind of induction. Being a member of the Opry is an honor, but also an obligation. You need to available to perform there and work for the Opry organizations.

That’s why people like George Strait aren’t members.

no - not after a long career - after proving that u are a country star who has lasting power....there’s a lot who haven’t been inducted....the grand ole opry is truly the peak for a country star and I think carrie has proven she is truly a country star!
