No, I don’t blame George at all. He lives in Texas and has no desire to live in Nashville. He will be in the Country Music Hall of Fame, no doubt, but he will likely never be a member of the Grand Ole Opry.
(Of course, I never would have guessed that Charlie Daniels would make it in either for similar reasons and he got the invite last year.)
