Having been involved with a Polo Club I know there are many who don't.

People buy or breed horses to train them to sell. It's a cold fact of life.

I'm sure they do.....there are always going to be MIchael Vicks in this world. Here is an email I got today about a "Beast of Burden". Read and click:

These two guys reared this lion from a baby in England but the authorities would not allow them to keep it once it reached maturity so they were forced to give it up, they took it back to Africa and placed it in a wildlife sanctuary, a year later they went to see it and were told it would not remember them.

People buy or breed dogs to train and sell them, but you would call them a pet. My horses have all been my pets. PS Like your name!
