There’s a big drug gang war going on all over Mexico - Laurean is back page news.

You're probably right. Still, it doesn't sound like the Mexican authorities have made anbody aware that they are looking for Laurean in or around his birth town. I had read somewhere that folks had asked if they could donate to the reward fund to up the ante. If the reward was quite a bit higher, I think he'd be found. I also heard there were bounty hunters heading down to Mexico to search for Laurean. Maybe they will have some luck.

Don’t bounty hunters have to be contracted by bail bondsmen to bring back bail jumpers.

Laurean had not posted any bail...who would pay a *bounty* other than the $25K reward?
