Murder seems like a complete overreaction to the given problem of Maria...the idea that Cesar is up to other things, by virtue of his position in the personnel office, that Maria knew about (even more serious than rape) keeps nagging at me.
I mean...Cesar and Christina seem to have slid along with a murder coverup just fine....what’s a little adultery to them?

That is such a profound observation.
I suspect most of the participants on this thread are women. Being a mother, I am having a difficult time coming up with a motive...other than sociopathic rage (Scott Peterson) or betrayal & jealousy (Christina).
There’s the loss of career for a rape charge that seemed very weak.........but murder? Not even a large insurance policy.
