The editors at both DC and Marvel really suck. There’s a damn good reason comics are dying, and the people running the comic book business are part of the problem.
The trend in comics is away from periodicals and towards graphic novels or collections. The manga collections can run into multi-volumes for a popular series. Webcomics are also a big trend.
