I almost fell out of my chair when the announcers were saying that this was a young Ohio State team and could be back in the title game next year.

They are dead wrong. No matter what the record is for the Buckeyes next year, the BCS selection committee would have to have their collective heads examined to consider them for a title game slot. They're going to avoid them like the plague.

First of all, I’m not an OSU fan. Sorry, but if the Bucks run the table next season, they’re going to the BCS national championship. They play USC in September.

OSU starts play USC next year. That might show a bit about their relative skill.

After the OT loss to OSU, by “THE U”, because of an admitted bad call by a referee, I visited a Voodoo Priestess in Little Haiti. After paying her $50.00 and three green mangoes she placed a curse on OSU that will last until the year 2014. So there “OHNO”

As I noted earlier in the season, OSU was a place-holder this year. They were ranked so highly because everyone ahead of them kept blowing it. Despite next year OSU being stronger, and USC being on the schedule, I expect that you are right - even if they beat USC during the season. This year they were filling a hole between Texas and USC home and homes, and so had an in-state patsy game.
