First they told us the brothers “dangled a leg over the edge.”

They said the wall was 19 feet high.

Then they said the victims “put something in the moat” for the tiger to get out.

Then they said the brothers were uncooperative.

Then they said there was a shoe in the moat.

Then they said the boys had slingshots.

Now we know that everyone of these statements from zoo officials (or unnamed city officials) is untrue.
