...certified media jackal...

I forget, are media jackals just above or just below lawyers on the food chain?

I think that the last Gallup survey on that found that we’re trusted more than lawyers but less than used car salesmen.

I tried to keep it very readable and interesting - and the topics are based on the real stuff I see people struggling with everyday in my practice.

Here are exerpts from two early readers' comments about the book:

The Believer's Guide to Legal Issues' is not dry research but rather practical counsel enlivened by personal stories in the form of "Life Lessons" and based on relevant biblical insights. From 'pre-nups' to real estate to living wills, this is a must read for those seeking the better way! - P.B., Pennsylvania

Bloom takes to task the contemporary 'secular' attitudes and responses that have led us into a quagmire of divorce and domestic litigation. A book like 'The Believer's Guide to Legal Issues', in our litigation-weary times, has long been awaited. The wisdom here is challenging, wholesome, and most of all a devout and serious call to think and live biblically. - S.H., Pennsylvania

I've also furnished advanced review copies to our very own FReeper authors Alamo-Girl and betty boop, so we'll hopefully have the honor of hearing some of their thoughts and perspectives when they arrive on the thread later tonight...

It's being published by Living Ink Books, an imprint of AMG Publishers, out of Chattanooga, TN - they are a modest-sized traditional Christian publishing house. It's in pre-release right now, available online for pre-order through my link at the top of the thread. Expected to ship around the beginning of April.

Since you may have well studies the law with respect to the believer’s way of life, I have a unique question for you.

Do you know of a good text describing situations which are placed before the Supreme Court of Heaven or other bodies such as the elders in heaven?

No. I haven't explored those kinds of issues. But I do know who my Defense Lawyer is. And I'm at peace with that.

Thanks for the invite. You sometimes forget there are others that hold the same values as you when you work in a very liberal profession.

I would like to know where your book can be purchased.

Thanks again and God Bless.

Okay, I’ve just posted Chapter 7 (The Medicaid-Planning Shell Game) on my “About” page for your reading pleasure! It’s actually one of my shorter chapters, so it fits in there okay.

For anyone new to FReeping skills, you get to my “About” page in my profile simply by clicking on my name at the bottom of any of my posts.
