There is definitely wrong with someone that would kill an innocent person, but he isn’t insane. No way. Yep, I agree that he’s a serial killer and no conscience at all. They probably kicked his ass or offered him something. What a piece of crap he is. So senseless.

Body of missing hiker found

BLAIRSVILLE - The body of Meredith Emerson, the 24-year-old who disappeared New Year’s Day while hiking in the north Georgia mountains, has been found.

Julia Karrenbauer said Emerson’s body was discovered in the 25,000-acre Dawson Forest wildlife management area — about 30 miles south of the Union County, Georgia, state park where she went hiking on January 1.

The discovery comes a few hours after the man accused in Emerson’s disappearance appeared in court in shackles Monday to hear the charge against him.

From: Suspect Leads Officials To Missing Hiker's Body

ATLANTA -- The body of missing hiker Meredith Emerson has been found.

The Georgia Bureau of Investigation told Channel 2 they took suspect Gary Hilton to Dawson State Forest and he helped them locate Meredith Emerson's body Monday night.

A police source confirmed the discovery for WSB-TV Channel 2.

The 24-year-old UGA grad had been missing since New Year's Day.

Officials said her body was found in Dawson State Forest in Dawson County -- the same place searchers were looking Monday.

"At appoximately 7:30 this evening, the body of Meredith Emerson was discovered in a wooded area inside Dawson Forest in Dawson County," GBI Special Agent In Charge John Cagle said. GBI Director Vernon Keenan said Emerson's family was informed immediately after her body was found.
