You are so right.

I do not understand those who switch responsibility for the escape from the zoo to those who got chewed on.

“Taunting” the tiger might make give her more incentive to get at them. This is irrelevant to the prime issue: The zoo’s responsibility is to keep the animals away from the customers no matter how badly the animals want out.

If the guys in question behaved badly, they should be punished appropriately, but it doesn’t mitigate the zoo’s screwup in the least.

I see 3 sides here. The zoo is completely at fault, the boys are completely at fault/ nothing would have happened if the cat had been left alone, and that the zoo should have kept her in, but if taunting, the young men share responsibility too. We kind of know where most stand.

I am just looking for "new" news. The camera, the 4th boy, the branch, toxicolgy report... This investigation seems to be moving so slllllllowwwwww.

And......
the Zoo is negligent also in not protecting the animals!

What kind of zoo Director at 300K a year can’t figure out a way to protect the animals? For God’s sake, most of the zoo is funded by tax dollars....not only is this a waste of tax dollars but what does it teach children that we can’t protect animals or people at the zoo.

the zoo didn’t have this problem for years....yes, but we didn’t have such sick people going to the zoo for years before either.

Just wait....this will soon be Bush’s fault!

An eyewitness claimed she saw the boys yell "ROAR, ROAR" at the lion and tigers.

What is the zoo to do if (God forbid) visitors yell at the tigers or say "Kaw, Kaw" at the eagles?

Good this they didn't hiss at the snakes!

at the same time, I don’t think these two loser should win one penny in damages.

So now the brothers are accusing the zoo of not helping them, and their slimeball lawyer is upset that his clients actions are being scrutinized.
