From the sound of it, the cell phones are in police custody but the brothers have yet to give permission for them to be viewed?

"the cell phones and the car are currently being held by the San Francisco Police Department but have not been searched"

Here's another article which is more detailed.

they can easily be erased. If they sent them to anyone that is a different story. There may be a record of it with the cell company.

Typical:

The nice kid makes a bad choice to hang with a couple Butt Heads. They go wild with the sling shots and camera on the Big Cat that is already in a bad mood. Surprise! The Big Cat is Damn BIG! AND PISSED! A possible forth idiot split to save his sorry butt and let the others get chewed. Classy.

The lady saw it all.
The cops have already seen the shots and want to use them to protect the innocent and make it impossible for these two manslaughters and the ambulance chaser to profit from this action. They want this evidence ironclad. Good for them.
The poor family of the dead kid are mad at the zoo because they feel partially responsible and don’t want to feel bad, angry is better?

The Big Cat don’t care anymore. Bye big fellow.
