That would only apply if it was say, a bus ticket, and the bus crashed. Then they'd have to make up injuries. The key is that in order to have standing to sue, one must provide evidence of injury. Even in CA, folks can't sue on the grounds that something might have happened.

Something did happen ~ she was "terrified out of her wits" and has had recurring atrial fibrilation ~ and here's the doctor's statement.

I'm sure there are other ploys. Fur Shur there are doctors who provide such evidence of injury!
