God bless you for being there for your Mom. I bet she’s very grateful to have you as her advocate and caretaker.
Praying for traveling mercies for you, for wisdom and discernment as you keep abreast of what’s happening, and for strength to continue to oversee things and stand up to the docs as needed.
Thank you. I am humbled by your prayers. I talked with the Doc late yesterday and she says that Mom is doing much better. I am struggling now with whether to go back down so soon. I had wanted to wait until late Feb. when they do all the follow up to see if they got all of the cancer, etc.
Sis says to wait until Monday before I decide. I left the day her chemo & radiation trips were over, but had no idea that when folks stop chemo & radiation is when things get so bad for them for up to 3 weeks afterwards.
It is all so hard. Cancer affects everyone in the family and caretakers with families of their own are often torn between competing duties back at home. My hubby has been a rock though and my son just graduated college a year ago, so I have it better than alot of folks dealing with cancer.
Thanks again for your words of encouragement and your prayers.
