It sounds to me like he had a very bad experience in a hospital. Perhaps a mistake that gave him the wrong medication or the wrong dose? It wouldn’t have been the first time that’s ever happened.

He looks like they gave him methyltrexate (of course I can’t spell it but it puffs people up). Glenn’s neck isn’t usually that gigantic. Or steroids or something. He’s awfully puffy.
