They’ve come down a lot in price.

I have not had good luck with top loaders... I think they’re OK for occasional printing when you can babysit it, but if you go through a lot of paper and want to leave it unattended to receive faxes for the weekend... they jam a lot.

I dunno, we've never had a jam (our last printer was a top-loader too, we had it for about 10 years) and we used to do some print runs that were a couple of hundred pages, anyway. But, YMMV.
