Here’s a suggestion...it’s what we are doing...
Put $500-$1000 into saves first...before paying anything on the credit card (other than minimum due). Then, after you have that in savings, start hacking away at the card. Then, if you do have an emergency, you won’t have to put it on the card, you can pay for it out of your savings.
I’m taking a class. Heh!

That is what we did. The savings is just about where we want it for emergency so we are going to start throwing a lot more at the card.
We paid the card down earlier this year and then it went back up :P
Time to take it back down. And then drop it’s line of credit again so that it can’t go back up much.

I need to switch banks at some point...and then start a savings account. I don’t like my current bank, but it’s such a hassle to switch that I’ve stalled for two years!
