For me, it went from 4 AM to after 11 AM in the blink of an eye.
No nose bleed yet, though...so I think I’m good.
Have you seen my friend Desmond around?
No, but there was a very confused rat just here.
Lose his way from KOS?
Ni!
Okay, Not Valerie needs computer help. She was trying to shut something down on the Task Manager (ctrl/alt/delete) and managed to turn her screen on it’s side.
Any clues what she needs to do to fix it? Rebooting didn’t take care of it.
Is it a Dell? Try ctrl-alt-up arrow.
Yep, I managed to Google that and find it. All better now.
(didn’t work on the Gateway here in Fangorn)
Thanks
What Ramius said...sounds like you handled it.
It’s a fun way to annoy unsuspecting users...
Well FR keeps going away (and giving the wrong time). Yahoo Groups Free Republic and Hobbit Hole are down. That leaves the Free Dominion FR refugee area, if the Canadian thought police haven’t taken it down too.
Also on Dells, ctl-alt-f12 will bring up the display driver control panel. There is a "rotate screen image" box that gets mysteriously set, allowing the rotation to happen. You can uncheck that.
Looks like we killed the thread!!
Note tag line.
You can’t kill this thread man. Nothing can kill this thread. We’ve had thermobarbic bombs dropped on us and we are still here.
Image prolly won't work
Funny.
But disturbing.
I had to sit through "training" yesterday. I almost left. It was a big survey of all the different things the different departments do. Except mine. We were chopped liver. According to the "instructor" we're not that important.
Harumph.... I kept wanting to shout - "Yeah, try that one on Congress. They may be anti-American, but they value soldiers' lives more than you do!"
Anyway, have to do it all over again today. zzzzzZZZZZZzzzzz
