So that’s got to give you hope then...
After six years, I’m not sure I’ll ever get out of this line...
So....when do we get to see Yellowface again? Now I’m glad I painted the bathroom an outrageously bright orange.
Heh...
Well...so far the only interest in the van is someone who wants me to give it to a friend of theirs. Free.
Um.
Uh... riiiight. Because if you wanted to give it away, you wouldn’t give it to some charity that lets you deduct from taxes.
That’s more interest than I’ve had for my printer.
How much are you listing it for?
Good morning... Good morning everyone, in the news this morning good morning!
The sun'll come out tomorrow, tomorrow, bet your bottom dollar...ha, earworm!
Sunny tomorrow, rain and snow this weekend. Are you going back to God's country for Easter?
Well...Blue Book in good condition is $4300 for what it has. It’s listed at $3200, which I *thought* was pretty reasonable - it does have some marks and things. Maybe it’s still too high. Or maybe I need to find a new venue.
Heh. No. Saving money for Tax Day. Guess I’d better start running the numbers.
Probably doesn’t help that there’s another one (a year older, with lots more miles and a few issues) that’s pretty close to my listing, and for $2000.
It’s poured here all night...hailed once, but just the little stuff.
More to come, so flooding might be an issue...glad I don’t have to drive anywhere today!
Tried to lower another one of my BP meds...Lopressor. I was taking 100mg twice a day and I lowered it to 75mg twice a day trying to get off of it all together. (With my doctor’s permission and instruction.) BP went up to 160/108 last night. So, instead of going back up on the Lopressor, I upped my Lisinopril 20mg from once to twice a day. Again, that’s what doc said i could do...I’m not just pulling this out of my, eh, ear.
Lopressor causes terrible side effects...makes me feel like I’m doused in ice water. My nailbeds turn blue, my palms turn purple and I shiver uncontrollably. I reckon it’s better than being dead, but if I can get off of it and onto the Lisinopril, I’d just soon.
I don’t know if that’s in the ball park or not... what did the dealership want to give you for it?
$1000. :-\ They said because it has dents and over 100k miles, it was pretty well worthless, but they’d be “nice” and give me a thousand for it. And they wouldn’t negotiate on that at all.
I haven’t checked with the Toyota folks yet, but I imagine their offer would be about the same. Though...I gotta say, just in asking questions and all, the Toyota people have been by far the easiest people to deal with. It’s making me rethink the Yaris, in spite of the funky instrument cluster. Especially since it’s the same size as my late lamented Corolla.
So even if I only got a few thousand or even fifteen hundred for it, I’d be doing better than trade...so there’s that.
But you know me...I hate waiting!
Well, give it as much time as you want to give it! Maybe advertise it in the Olympian for the weekend.
That might not be a bad idea...though it’s a holiday weekend.
Maybe I’ll at least list it at a few car specific classifieds sites, like autotrader.com. That’d be free, in any case. Nothing to lose.
Er...guess they’re not free.
I can think about it, I guess.
I don’t think holiday weekend is a bad thing. That’s when people have time to look.
That’s where I’d look anyway, is in the local paper.
