They did total Jr’s car. But we got it repaired and put it back on the road without doing the cosmetic stuff. I’m sorting out all of my options now. We may go ahead and have the van fixed anyway.
It’s still drivable at least, no?
Yeah, and we may just go ahead and get it repaired anyway. I’ve got about a year left on truck payments. If we could get beyond that we’d be better off.

Yeah, it’s a ways off and I wish it wasn’t. My face is kinda puffy.
Probably just the medication slowing down my circulation...all this medicine makes me feel terrible.
BP was 160/102 this morning, before my medications. 130/98 right now.
Every time I take it, I keep hoping it is back to normal and this has just been a nightmare and it’s over now.
Maybe I’ll find out about that second 24 hour test today.
I'm guessing you mean the new Kimber, the carry one, not the regular full-size one... and the answer is "most enthusiastically". :-)
It gobbles up hollow points just fine. Have tried a few different makes and styles of ammo and it hasn't had a mis-feed or a complaint yet. Since it has so little mass and a short small grip, it has a noticeable kick-up that the full-size doesn't have. But with a firm grip it's still easy enough to follow up on a double tap. So it's not disagreeable, you just have to know what to expect.
The full size is more pleasant to shoot if you're going to shoot through a couple of boxes of shells. The trade off on the RCP being so darn easy to carry any time and any where... and ~still~ having the overwhelming punch of a .45 just makes it an ideal carry weapon, IMHO. I carry a second magazine with it, but the odds are that I'd never need it. :-)
I swear, it’s very cold outside and the wind is howling! (You know how it starts doing here, every year around this time...I’ve mentioned it before.)

I wish I could get Tam to approve of the post I have. Halvah loves it...Tam prefers to use the couch, especially as revenge when he’s just been yelled at for something else.
And poor Halvah...half the time I hear her scratching on the post and think it’s Tam being bad and start yelling. If I catch her in time I tell her she’s a good kitty and I’m sorry for yelling, but...she’s gotta be confused as to whether it’s a good or bad thing to do.
