I have probably 10k more words and them major massive rewrites.

Anyone else up for finish/edit/fake NaNo in February? OT, you were going to maybe do NaNo then, right?

Ain’t no way I could finish a rewrite in Feb., but I’d be up for trying to finish the story. Probably have another 25k, I’d guess, and it’ll be more difficult writing than the first 50k, so that’s not a bad goal by itself.

I am in that boat. I have 30-40k more to go for the story. Even if I never clean it up and stuff I want to at least finish it. My feburary challenge would be to just get to a satifying ‘the end’ stopping spot. Something were any more I ever wrote would be called a sequel. Editing would be a bonus but I have to far still to go to do both in one month. Just finishing.

I’m not sure I could finish in February either. But I need to do the rewrites to make the story work.

Yeah, I doubt my rewrites could be done in a month but if it’s a NaNo style effort I’d be a lot closer. I could probably finish the story and fix the really awful scenes that need to be totally replaced, and maybe even start on the smaller editing.

I’m suggesting February because NaNo has taught me that starting a project like that at the start of a month helps a lot, and because the longer we put it off the harder it’ll be.
