Thanks! It’s another relatively easy one from that book; the catch is that it takes really chunky yarn, which was easy to find at Hobby Lobby, but I ran out and never found it elsewhere.
I imagine it could be done as a double worsted instead. In fact, one of these days I’m going to try that. Have to decide on a color!
Yeah! That’s the guy! They used to show him on PBS, as I recall. Fascinating, though I never tried any of his “tonics” when I *did* have a garden...
I stand corrected...
I meant, older than me... ;o)
I live in Michigan, where they make up gun laws on the fly. No suppressors, no full auto, no short barrels. So I have to satisfy myself with the semiauto PS90. It's still the most fun thing to shoot since I got my first .22.
The skinny 16" barrel is hidden by a dummy Gemtech suppressor, and I upgraded the standard sights with a 1.5x compact ACOG.
It's accurate, reliable, and a real joy to shoot. The only downside is the cost of the ammo, but all other kinds of ammo are getting expensive now, too.
OMG!
Viggo Mortenson is on FOX News with Dennis Kucinich!
Is this the moron hour? Viggo seems a nice enough guy, except he chose the easy (and stupid) way out with his politics. Kookcinich, however, is just pure evil elf.
We planted turnips, radishes and lettuce today!
Sounds like a nifty place! I love places like that! There were places in Austin like that. Steve bought me a card once from a coffee house with oh, maybe twenty large coffees on it that could be punched out each time you went in and got a cup. I had half the card left when we found out we were moving away. I gave it to a very young single mom that was a receptionist in the dr office where I worked. (She had been with me once for a cup and it was a kind of sophisticated occasion she wasn’t accustomed to and enjoyed it greatly.) She got very emotional when I gave it to her...I still remember how good it made me feel!
Well... today is the day - first day of the NewJob. I’m all kinds of anxious, but I’m sure everything will be fine. Lots of paperwork to fill out today and I’m 99% certain I won’t have computer accounts yet, so expect me when you see me!
Travel only by day. And stay off the road.
Have fun!
It’s only going to get up into the 70s here today.
In other newz, I’ve been pondering ideas to fix (and complete) Nano 07. It could werk...

We need to finish our 07 Nanos too. Maybe we should have a February “fix NaNo” challenge for anyone who isn’t done?
