Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!
Can I con you into bringing a drill when you come? ;-) I have a couple of coat hooks I want to try to put up...continuing with the organizing theme!
I also left my light and that video over there...oops.
Sure. What time do you want us to come over? We just had lunch here, so we’re not in any hurry.
Probably a little on the late side...aim for about...maybe eat around seven? And I’m sure I have *some* movie worth watching, though admittedly, my TV is pretty small...
Cool... snow and palm trees :~)
OK - we’ll come over when you say you’re ready for us :~)
It’s still coming down slowly. Not sure how much we’re supposed to get. I don’t think much more.
So, can you feed a tetra to death? Or at least until he’s sick?
I changed the fish water today and the tetra was acting a little wonky, sort of off balance if that makes any sense.
Found out that Luke had apparently dumped the remainder of the tetra food into the tank. Probably 1/4 or less of the cylinder, but still.
Fish seems to be okay now. But who knows.
How about I ping you when the first one goes in the oven?
More than likely overfeeding him would just make the tank dirty. If he’s wonky and off-balance, that’s more likely to be a result of the water change, too much change in either temperature or PH. If so... he may not be savable.
Oh - I guess I missed the part about him being OK now... You may have lucked out ;~)
The electric palm trees, we recall you talking about getting them. A most appropriate setting, well done indeed. OB & LSA
Well, we’ll see if he makes it through the night.
My nayber refers to them as “Bethlehem trees.” I put them with the nativity at Christmas. I figure, hey, Bethlehem has date palms, it works.
But mine don’t die when they’re covered in snow.
We don’t get snow here.
There is apparently a basketball game that ecurbh forgot about... but it should be over about 7 he thinks! Unless they go into overtime or something.
No hurry. ;-) I haven’t started cutting stuff up...should do that.
Do you guys like black olives? I forget. I’m thinking no.
I do - ecurbh no... so you could just put them on a two thirds of it ;~)
