Welcome to The Hobbit Hole!
Sing hey! for the bath at close of day
That washes the weary mud away!
A loon is he that will not sing:
O! Water Hot is anoble thing!
O! Sweet is the sound of falling rain.
and the brook that leaps from hill to plain;
but better than rain or rippling streams
is Water Hot that smokes and steams.
O! Water cold we may pour at need
down a thirsty throat and be glad indeed;
but better is Beer, if drink we lack,
and Water Hot poured down the back.
O! Water is fair that leaps on high
in a fountain white beneath the sky;
but never did fountain sound so sweet
as splashing Hot Water with my feet!
i'm just sayin'...one man's "moderation" is another man's night spent pukin' in a back alley...
and Jr. could still use a good butt kickin’
guess I’ll just have to do it...
if’n yer askeered, I can still do it fer yuh...
yuh know... all this talk has got me in the mood for car bombs...
i’m only askeered i won’t know whenta stop...
“I continued to fire until all perceived hostile intent had ceased...”
Not sure I can finance that much ammo...
There's probably a reality show for that kind of thing.
I smiled inside when pple were watching, and laughed myself silly when I got back to the car.
I'm going to borrow that line. I just wrote it in my little notebook.
I'm in.
Mrs. is on her way back from a meeting in Virginia Beach. We thought Jr. had a four o'clock class, so Luke was supposed to go to the nayber's.
I called Jr. on my way home and told him I was pickin' up Luke then goin' to the store.
"Luke's been here since 4:00."
Fortunately Jr. didn't have his class today.
Nayber did check on him and Jr. said it was okay he was home.
Luke has been reminded that he never leaves the bus stop without an adult.
Luke killed the thread.
yeah sure, blame the kid....
...and a dog ate my homework.
You guys still up?
I just got home. I’m tired, but had a good shift.
Came out of the hospital to find my car covered in a layer of ice. Lovely. Stayed another 15 minutes waiting for the car to heat up and scraping ice off my window.
Thanks for the update on Mack, Hair.
Yuck, ice. Time to get under your warm blankets now.
I just got done with decon. My hair is still wet.
I’m enjoying what my son would call an “ex-squeeze-it beaver-age”. (An exquisite beverage...in this case a brandy and coke, from the brandy left over from the cherries jubilee we had for Christmas.)
Good. Not allowed to drink here, it does strange things to me.
Where are you? I don’t guess I know!
I know where everyone else is in the Hole...some even how to drive to their homes...but I don’t even think I know what state you are in.
Do I?
