Spears' Lawyers Calling It Quits Court Filing Cites 'Breakdown' In Communication

LOS ANGELES -- Britney Spears' lawyers in her custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline are calling it quits.

A court filing by Trope and Trope obtained by CelebTV.com cites a "breakdown" in communication with the pop princess that makes representing her "impossible."

Federline has temporary custody because Spears, who has limited visitation rights, has defied court orders.

On a separate legal front, an attorney for Spears wants the Los Angeles city attorney's office to prove that the pop star is a permanent California resident and is subject to state laws that require her to have a valid California driver's license.

Spears faces up to a year of probation if convicted in a misdemeanor case of driving without a valid license, a charge to which she has pleaded not guilty.

There was one heartbreaking paparazzi photo of the two little boys in the backseat of Brits’ Mercedes (the one she has dinged up and never gets cleaned). Camera flashes reflecting all around them, the younger one visibly terrified, the older baby trying to hold the hand of his baby brother, and Britney upfront w/the goofiest look of sheer pleasure from all of the ‘attention’ she is getting from the paps...all while oblivious to her babies in the backseat. Sad.

Yes, understood. That was then and this is now. Since that “aggression” Federcrap has managed to take a tidy sum via the divorce settlement and his lawyers are “aggressively” fighting for custody. Did I mention in the last post that there would be some sizable custody payments with that ruling?

Do you think that Federcrap fought for custody with his previous girlfriend who he left pregnant with another kid spawned by him?

They in the end will have to rely on themselves. But at least they will have a chance.

All lawyers are officers of the Court. The judge ordered Spears to appear (five times) and she hasn’t ‘appeared’ before the Court yet...attornies have the responsiblity to make their clients follow the orders given by the Court. Spears made her lawyers look bad in the eyes of the Court.

You may be right but only in the sense that it’s a different lawyer working for Shar Jackson.

She’s been stuck with Federcrap’s kids and this guy has no job. Now how would she get an increased child support payment?
