Spears' Lawyers Calling It Quits Court Filing Cites 'Breakdown' In Communication
LOS ANGELES -- Britney Spears' lawyers in her custody battle with ex-husband Kevin Federline are calling it quits.
A court filing by Trope and Trope obtained by CelebTV.com cites a "breakdown" in communication with the pop princess that makes representing her "impossible."
Spears and Federline have been wrangling for months over custody of their sons, 2-year-old Sean Preston and 1-year-old Jayden James. sponsor
Federline has temporary custody because Spears, who has limited visitation rights, has defied court orders.
On a separate legal front, an attorney for Spears wants the Los Angeles city attorney's office to prove that the pop star is a permanent California resident and is subject to state laws that require her to have a valid California driver's license.
Spears faces up to a year of probation if convicted in a misdemeanor case of driving without a valid license, a charge to which she has pleaded not guilty.
Your daughter is quite observant.
No, it's because she is a drug addict whose neglect of of her children has put the children at great risk of severe bodily harm.
Moreover, she has failed to show up for custody hearings and has violated the terms of her custody arrangement even after having been warned by the court.
MSM misreporting.
Sounds like boilerplate language to pull out of a case.
I was thinking that if she could lose that paunch for a few minutes, she could make a few bucks posing for Hustler or Playboy, but you may be closer to it.
This must be serious. I’ve never heard of a lawyer quitting while he was getting paid.
I agree.
More like "Crack Whore" magazine.
Sorry if I haven’t been following Britney’s latest shenanigans as closely as you guys. I wuz rong.
Meaning theyve made all the money they can and are off for a new mark? Perhaps her little sister.

Too late. Little sis has blew it by being a teen star (Nickolodeon can’t handle publicity of tweens by admiring a 16 year old knock up) that gets pregnant at 16 by a playboy 18 year old.
I know Zoe 101 (Jamie Lynn Spears’ show) is already off my kid’s list of shows. Miley Cyrus better not end up pregnant, damnit.
That’s kind of a snotty post.
The way of the future...
the way of the future...
Money can’t buy class, you must have it first. Good Parents really can help here.
Look at Tiger Woods, millions beyond any imagination, yet a role model and still a hard working man.
Mortgage payments. Car payments. Child support payments. Supporting an entourage. Shopping binges. Interior design consulting fees. It all adds up.
Name any amount of monthly income you like: an immature celebrity can spend all of it.
It is! It’s hugh and series!
I didn’t mean it that way. I was trying to be funny, however, I really was not aware of Britney’s drug and drinking issues. If what you are saying is true, then she really is an unfit parent.
I am going to assume that Ms. Spears performance demands are also accompanied by a withholding of fees until those demands are met, making the lawyers' decision that much easier.
Wow.
I didnt mean it that way. I was trying to be funny, however, I really was not aware of Britneys drug and drinking issues. If what you are saying is true, then she really is an unfit parent.

I’m a shameless browser of TMZ and it really is quite pathetic what a white trash mother she is. She has had her driving rights taken away, meaning she can’t even drive her kids around due to poor driving (ie: running red lights, driving over THREE different people’s feet, hit and run, driving without license, etc...) and she regularly leaves her kids in the car with the court monitor (which she has to have with her to see her kids) to go shopping inside stores for God sake. And she only has them for literally hours at a time.
