Here’s what amazes me: people on this site are usually extremely skeptical of the MSM, as well they should be. But here we have people accepting as gospel a report from ONE newspaper, credited to “a source” (not even “a police source” or “a zoo source”-just “a source”), just because it supports what they already want to believe. Like the NY Post has sources in the SFPD or at the zoo that the local SF papers don’t have. C’mon people—what happened to your critical thinking abilities?

I thought the same thing. Why would a paper on the opposite coast get the story? It would be like the Seattle Post Inquirer getting the scoop on the Duke Lacross case.

When my little nephews were small, I bought them sling shots and myself one, we would play cow boy and Indians using candy corn as ammo. There are all sizes of sling shots, these were power by rubber bands. Sort of like a rubber band gun, but some of the animal rights, and PETA whack o's probably wants to band them as well.
