This guy is upset about checkbook journalism. They wouldn’t be opening their checkbooks if they didn’t expect to make even more money from ratings, from the people who consume celebrity gossip. The fact that inane, mean-spirited gossip draws so many people is what’s really scary.

What is tragic about Anna Nicole and her son Daniel is that they died in the same way - both deaths highly suspicious, yet no proper investigation. Possibly foul play. Yet the autopsy report by Perper is something else - I wonder how he still is able to keep his job as a ME in Florida. Many lies and judicial misconduct have been reported.

I couldn’t agree with you more! And I’ll add celebrity gossip has gotten out of hand, as has speculation on current crimes, it’s to the point viewers have to determine on their own what is true and what is false, what’s the point of watching the news, if it leaves you questioning the report. What bothers me is news stations, newspapers,gossip journalism etc. paying for interviews that are irrelevant, such as if the one being interviewed doesn’t know the truth, distorts the truth, or inserts their own opinion, without knowledge.
