Fred Thompson Garners Support of Top Tancredo Staff Western Iowa- Congressman Steve King today welcomed the two top staffers for former presidential candidate Tom Tancredo to the campaign of Fred Thompson. Bill Salier served Tancredo as his Iowa State Chairman and Angie Anderson served as Tancredo's Iowa Executive Director.
Salier and Anderson attended a Fred Thompson 2008 event in Sioux City where they announced their support of the former Senator's Presidential Campaign.
King commented, "Bill Salier and Angie Anderson are pillars of the conservative community in Iowa. Their work for Tom has put the Rule-of-Law and border security at center stage for this Republican primary. I am delighted that Bill and Angie have joined me to support Fred Thompson."
"Judging from the response of Bill and Angie, it's beginning to look like Fred Thompson received the endorsement of the Tancredo campaign."
