Seems the folks at U.S. News & World Report must know something we don't know: Otherwise, why do an article on the wife of some also-ran with "no fire in his belly" and bad poll numbers? Hmmmmmmmm....
I think the Jacqueline Kennedy comparison is apt, and it will be nice to see young children in the White House, again.

I think Jeri Thompson has a lot more on the ball than Jackie K. ever did. I heard her on Hannity yesterday, and I was quite impressed.

Jeri and Fred met in a Nashville grocery store checkout line on July 4, 1996. Fred, who was in line with a can of beanie weenies, carried her groceries, and she invited him to a party. LOL!

While I can understand the comparison to Jackie Kennedy, the Jeri Thompson I met is very down to earth and unpretentious.
It will be nice to have children back in the White House. :)

She graduated from DePauw University in 1988, where she majored in English. To help pay her tuition, Jeri worked part time as a waitress. She was a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority.Well of course she was a Pi Phi at DePauw. She's way too hot to have been a Delta Zeta.
