Announcer on Schmidt's TD run: "Like a runaway beer truck!"
Best line ever delivered during a run.

Was Oklahoma’s band really playing Michael Jackson’s Triller just now?

Hmmmmm, there’s a joke there that I’m not sure I could tell, given my neutral and objective position on this thread and ping list. :)

Not only as a University of Connecticut fan, but a fan of Big East college football, I am very happy to see a team which had no desiire to play for the Festia Bowl in Tempe, AZ tonight after losing the opportunity to play in the National Championship and its head coach, not certain it could win it, comeback to life tonight. This is the West Virgina Mountaineers team that I have come to respect for their never say die attitude, a part of the Big East community. :)

And the Big East will probably never be called the “Big Least” again, now will it? ;)
OU gets a FG. They probably needed six on that drive to really consider themselves back in the game (duh). 20-9 WVU

Oh the 3rd down play before the FG you mean? Yeah, I kept waiting for the back judge or somebody to throw the flag, but they let it go...

Yeah, that one.
OU should have been out of field goal range. Oh well.
W VA is going to have to suck it up and get rhythm again, the breaks aren't going their way.

This season the Big East, after so many years of it being given no respect in college football has proven itself this season. We now have the respect we so RICHLY EARNED.
The only contructive critiscism I do level is when they say about WVU, why do the Fox Sports folks say they are Big East Champions when they know better that it is a shared championship now with UConn. But that is forgivable at this point. :)

Well you got to remember that those officials are from the SEC, the conference that tried to go for a sweep of winnings this week but fell short.

I hope so, they need to get a break or some rhythm back.

This is why WVU must win this game not only to prove it can comeback after the shocking loss of a head coach, but to prove that the Big East is here to stay. :)

TD OU. Now do you go for 2 here? I would probably wait, but then again I’m not the one wearing the visor

Yup. That's because they're too big and slow. Right? LOL!
