And amazingly enough, it’s now 41-34 Purdue. The ending of this game will be worth watching IMO.

41-41!!!
This game has shades of the 2001 GMAC Bowl.
To: MplsSteve
Purdue gets the ball back now with some pretty good field position. For folks that like defense, this could get worse before it gets better.

Jeez, what an acrobatic INT grab—or near grab if it isn’t overturned.

48-48!
Wow, what a catch. What a game.

Purdue is driving now. That was a good pass play on 1st down. I’m almost rooting for overtime in this one.

3 seconds left. Looks like it will be, what, a 40 yd FG attempt?

Oh no! Purdue wins it.
I’m disappointed that CMU didn’t win.
Regardless of whether the KR was Dorian Bryant, CMU should have kicked the ball deep.
They gave Purdue good field position and then they went into the dreaded Prevent defense.
To: MplsSteve
Yup, I kind of had the feeling that when Purdue got the ball at about midfield with about an eterntiy on the clock on their game winning drive that the Boilers would win it.
Shame though, it was a wild, entertaining game.

Shame though, it was a wild, entertaining game. Who could have predicted that the Motor City Bowl would exceed even the Poinsettia Bowl in drama and excitement!?!

All the bowl games have been VERY entertaining this year! I’m SO looking forward to the Meineke Car Care Bowl on Saturday (b/c I’ll BE THERE!).

Go UConn! Beat Wake Forest this Saturday. What a great way for the Huskies to close out the year 2007 by winning the Meneke Car Care Bowl in Charlotte, NC. :)
