Hmmmm, so Jacksonville really is that good. Eh, oh well. Anyway, we have a game tonight, so here we go...

In roughly a half hour or so, if you can stand to watch SportsCenter, it's #24 Boise State vs. East Carolina in the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl. You may know that Boise State was last year's BCS "little team that could". What you may not know is that one of the Broncos top wideouts, Jeremy Childs, will not play due to breaking "unspecified team rules". I do have to be somewhat jealous of Boise State's current standing though. Here in Boise, it's 30 degrees right now. In Honolulu right now, it's 79 degrees. Feel the envy!

I’ll go ahead and say this right now: ECU’s Chris Johnson is impressive. Quick, great burst of speed on that TD run.

Have to agree with you on that. I will say though, my brother is a student at Boise State and it’s probably one of the few college campi in this country where the conservative/Republican students are more active than the liberals/Democrats are.

By the way, that's the famous "Touchdown Jesus" that appears at the front of the Solid Rock Church on Interstate 75, just north of Cincinnati. It rises 62 ft in the air and these kids had to stand pretty far away to get the perspective.

There is also a Sunni mosque about 2 miles south on the other side of the highway but it spells nothing (but trouble).
