The University of Minnesota got to experience FAU’s offense at the start of this season.

Memphis’ pass defense looked every bit as bad as ours.

Hey, it's Saturday morning and it's cloudy and looks like it might snow here today. So what better way to spend it than watching three halfway decent bowl games?

We have Southern Miss vs. Cincinnati in the Papajohns.com Bowl leading off the action in a few minutes. I've seen only bits and pieces of both Southern Miss and the Bearcats this year, but I've seen a lot of Papa John's. I'm a big fan of their pepperoni and sausage thin crust. Great change of pace from a hand-tossed, try it sometime.

Then at 4:30pm (eastern, of cousre) it's the New Mexico Bowl between the Nevada Wolf Pack and our ol' buddy sean327's New Mexico Lobos New Mexico hasn't won a bowl game since the 1961 Aviation Bowl and they'll be without junior running back Rodney Ferguson But despite all of that, history can still be made today. Don't let the Mountain West down, Lobos.

Then tonight at 8pm, it's UCLA against those self-righteous jerks from Provo. These two teams played in the regular season and now America will get to see an entire fan base, to a man and gal, bring a $20 and some religious texts and not break either one.

First game should be starting. Enjoy!

Seriously though both these teams could be top 10 or top 15 teams next year. And if the Gators could have hit some shots at the beginning of the game the gators could have been up 15-0.

It’s definately going to be growing pains this year. The good news is that next year we’ll have Eloy Vargas coming in to help in the paint. But having these freshmen playing together and going through this tough season, will pay off down the road.
