Is it really a quote when the character is fictional?
No Cowboys fan here, my dilemma (as a former Baltimore Colts fan, now Ravens fan) is who to root for when Dallas and the skins play. I dislike them both nearly equally, so I have to view it through the lens of ‘whose loss will positively impact the team I root for?’ Which is of course challenging given that we play in differnet conferences.
My dear fellow Baltimore Colts fan, I think you missed the point: the distraction that caused Romo to fade was not the one Jessica caused by being in the stands, it was the nature and extent of the distractions the night before.
As to the quotes, Bo Belinsky was definitely not a fictional character. And the Mickey quote was effective because it was taken straight form the advice trainers have given boxers since the Sweet Science came into being.
I can assure you that at my age, one night with Jessica Simpson would put me out of commission for months — and I wouldn’t care in the slightest.
