Outside of the 30 second dopey sound bites in the made-for-TV "debates" Ron actually makes some sense, in his own way.

He was on that stupid comedy “news” show last night. If there were any doubts people had of RP being insane, they are gone now.

thanks for the warning...

Good interview, Hannity and Colmes is running an interview with Fred Thompson now too. I will have to decide between these 2 since Duncan Hunter will not be on the ballot, Tom Tancredo and Alan Keyes has no delegates and they are the most conservative candidates.
To: TheEaglehasLanded
Are you able to physically spell Duncan Hunter?
Write him in! Having to vote for the TV peoples choice sucks!

As I said, outside of the made-for-TV sound bites, a lot of, but not all of, Ron Paul’s ideas resonate.

I don’t agree with him on everything, but getting rid of the IRS and replacing it with nothing, cutting Federal spending, getting out of the UN, WTO, NAFTA, North American Union, supporting the 2nd Amendment, and getting back to the Constitution are not kookie ideas.
They are what FREEREPUBLIC is all about.

I’m going down the list of Republican candidates, I was thinking great with a dozen one should be palatable, right?
Very disappointing indeed, posers, I got down to the bottom of the list over the weekend. I find this Ron Paul who I don’t know much about, but he has some real ideas. Ideas that are hard but ones that would work. Aren’t you tired of nothing getting fixed in fifty years?
You each seem to be adamant. Perhaps you have some intelligence I am missing, care to elaborate?

I like RP, but in todays world, alot of his idears are simply unatainable; we're too far down the line for that. We all would like to go back to the way it was supposeed to be but the country would collapse socially.
I agree with what he sez; just wish that he came off more mainstream with his answers to how we are going to fix the problem.

This country is already collapsing and will be as Rome if we do not change course now.
Coming off more mainstream is rubbish, the mainstream needs to follow the leader. It sounds like you have given up, try to aim a bit higher, one last shot...

Is Ron short for Ronathan?
To: DTogo
Ron actually makes some sense, in his own way.He makes sense to you "in his own way" but not in your own way? Can't quite bring yourself to outright admit your admiration, eh? Feeling a little peer pressure here?
To: TheEaglehasLanded
I agree with pretty much everything Paul has to say except the WOT, blame America first crap he puts out...Unfortunate.

Yeah, Dr Paul is NOT for everyone!
Otherwise, for those of you who still want another king, you have a great lineup to choose from—have at it.

If you ignored Duncan Hunter and chose Ron Paul, then you are a closet moonbat.

The WOT is being fought without protecting our boarders, that friend is unworkable. Boarders is the first step. Duncan got 17 miles. Good, but no cigar.
After voting for GW twice, probably like you, he has supplied enough comedy footage to fill every moon-bat closet in the nation.
