I saw Legend last night, wished I had my money back. I kept wishing I had a remote control so I could fast forward through all the slow boring parts.

Be careful. The Anti-Masonic crowd will come in on this thread screaming about how National Treasure is "Masonic propaganda." :-)
I really enjoyed the first one. Treasure hunting, conspiracies, relationships between fathers and sons, etc.

I thought “Legend” was the same as “Omega Man” when I saw
the first commercial. Are they “out” with it or do they also believe
that history began the year they were born?
NOT A CHRISTOPHOBE!
NOT A MATRIX CONSERVATIVE!

Yes, it was thoroughly enjoyable. Nicholas Cage is one of my favorite actors.

Alvin and the Chipmunks got over $13 million. At this pace, it will out-gross ‘The Golden Turd.’

Dang, I was afraid of that. Scale of one to ten, what did you think?
Is this the worst Christmas season for movies, in like 50 yrs or what?
To: Clemenza
After all these glowing reviews, I’m going to see it. I will wear some tin foil, so the Masonic thing doesn’t get me.

Yes! Hollywood back! Hollywood will leave 2007 on a high note. Thank you Will Smith!!!!!!!!!

Omega Man was quite the movie in it’s day.
It’s even become a bit of the vernacular in my age group (late boomers)....”an Omega Man lanscape”

I enjoyed National Treasure myself and am looking forward to the second one. For the most part, I like Cage movies.
We saw Legend last night and liked it for the most part. A big downer to us was the fate of the dog. We are on our second German Shepherd. Omega Man is a better movie in my opinion. Will Smith did a very good job as usual though.

Concur on National Treasure... that flick rocked. I'm in my 40s... I've got a 7 yr old nephew and he too gets a kick out of it.
NT was a great 2 hr escape. I was hoping they'd do another. When I heard II was being made I thought awesome. It is the only movie on my to-see list in the near future.

OK. That was important, and somebody needed to say it.
Haven’t a clue what it means, though...

I will wear some tin foil, so the Masonic thing doesnt get me. It's all good though, just the usual Hollywood thingy thrown in to whet the appetite.

Maybe a 6, there were just so many places in the movie that could have been written different that would have made it so much better. What is wrong with all the writers today. The plots either have an agenda or make very little sense.

You know I was thinking the same thing.
Charles Heston made that movie back in the late 50’s if I’m not mistaken.
