How far south did the ice fall?? I have many close family member about 40-50 minutes south of you, just wondering if they got it. BTW, if you are now in KY how can you miss anywhere else? LOL I love KY and miss KY until I can get back, and we are all from the NE!

I thought I was doing a really good thing getting the lights and decorations out before any storms hit, but now.........looking like they may be stuck there until spring!! We have about 10 inches on the ground, and winter mix moving in tonight, maybe the rain will melt some away. I am just praying for good weather on Christmas Eve, and Christmas Day, so all of us can get back and forth without worrying. In the meantime, plenty to do indoors to in preparation.

I love Kentucky, but part of my heart will always be in Michigan. The kids call it home, as they spent their childhoods there. I love the Christmas dinners at Greenfield Village and Zehnder’, shopping at Bronner’s and Canterbury Village before Christmas, and show at Christmas. Those are somethings to really miss, but my southern blood couldn’t take the cold. Although, the last few winters have been mild.
