Get your brakes checked. You’ll need them with all the downhill speed you’ll be building.

I forgot to mention that the ability to have more children was “nipped in the bud” (so to speak) two weeks before our third daughter was born.

Happy Birthday to you both. My advice is to just have a great day and enjoy every moment. Life is short so don’t make plans for “later.” Do it now if you have the time, energy and resources. If you want to take a special vacation you’ve always dreamed of, do it; you can put off the new carpet or whatever fix-it-up you need. A car can wait too. My philosophy is to live life while you are able to enjoy it....

Exactly. I’m not worried about 40 or beyond. It’s been a great ride so far...

You ain’t gonna believe this, but my dad is a huge classical music fan - growing up we had busts of Beethoven and Mozart on the mantle over the fireplace. He seriously wanted my first name to be Beethoven. My mother, bless her, even after the strain of delivery, put her red headed foot down while still on the delivery table. The first name on my birth certificate is Brian...

Buy life insurance now, because it increases in cost exponetially as you get older.

The college is about 700 miles west of where we now live. A bit of a drive for cafeteria food!
As far as the stacks go....I’m not sayin’ =)

I’m 56. I still surf regularly but now when I get in the water with my buds we look like a freakin’ Cialis commercial.

Would love to hear the joke anyway. Might cheer her up as she faces the day!
I love living in PA. I told her after we married that I would be willing to move to Oregon if she wanted to, but she wanted to stay here. Good woman...

Robbing the cradle there? LOL. Congrats to you both. My hubby is 2-/12 months older than I, and we’ve been married for 27 years. God bless both of you.

Wow, what conincidence with you and your wife. Happy Birthday to both of you. I'm a 67 baby too but for some reason I remained 39 this year.
I'd say go to a nice place to eat, have a drink or two, and just enjoy a quiet evening like old farts do.
